Synopsis[]
- This season finds Victor going on a journey of self-discovery — not only deciding who he wants to be with, but more broadly, who he wants to be. With their post-high-school-plans looming, Victor and his friends are faced with a new set of problems that they must work through to make the best choices for their futures.[4]

On July 30, 2021, Hulu renewed the series for a third season.[3] The writers, Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, and executive producers Brian Tanen, Jason Ensler, Isaac Klausner, Marty Bowen, Adam Fishbach, Wyck Godfrey, Pouya Shahbazian, and Adam Londy will be coming back.
On February 8, 2022, it was announced that it would be the final season, along with a premiere date scheduled for June 15, 2022.[2]
Casting[]
On July 30, 2021, with the announcement of season 3, it was also announced that Rachel Hilson, George Sear, Anthony Turpel, Bebe Wood, Mason Gooding, Isabella Ferreira, Mateo Fernandez, James Martinez and Ana Ortiz were coming back.[3]
On March 3, 2022, it was reported that Nico Greetham had joined the third season as Nick, a new friend Victor meets at church.[5]
Filming[]
Filming for the third season began on November 8, 2021.[6] and wrapped on February 12, 2022.[7]
Soundtrack[]
The soundtrack for the third season, featuring 3 original songs by artists within the LGBTQIA+ community and all co-written and co-produced by singer/songwriter Brett McLaughlin (aka Leland), as well as a cover of Yazoo's «Only You» performed by Jonah Mutono, was released on June 15, 2022, by Hollywood Records.[8]
