Morgan is a character who appears in the novel Leah on the Offbeat.
Biography[]
Morgan is Jewish, and has been friends with Leah and Anna for years. The three friends are in a band together.
Morgan applies to Georgia State, just as Leah does. However, tensions rise between the friends when Morgan is rejected, but Leah and Abby are accepted. This leads to Morgan making a racist remark that she must only have been rejected because she is white, unlike Abby. Leah is outraged and is quick to defend Abby, and the friend group begins to split up, as well as the band. Morgan later apologizes to Abby for her remark.
