Lake Meriwether is a main character in the Hulu televison series Love, Victor. She is portrayed by Bebe Wood.

Biography[]

She is the daughter of Georgina Meriwether, lives in Shady Creek and attends Creekwood High School. She is the best friend of Mia. She is a very frequent contributor to Creek Secrets, a blog about news and gossip at Creekwood high. Her mother is a news presenter, something that she is ok with, but she doesn't like the part where people come to them in public and ask her mom to say her quote: "Stay peachy, Atlanta". Initially, she likes Andrew, but she realizes he is not a nice person. She gets to know Felix Weston through his friend Victor Salazar. When she and Felix are sent by Victor to buy a tres leches cake, she becomes intrigued by him when he takes the last available cake from the bakery. Her mother often criticizes her appearance and way of dressing, even trying to dress her, something that Felix realized and let her know that she is smart, funny and beautiful, and already the best version of herself. Because Felix got a glimpse of Lake's home and her relationship with her mother, he wanted to show and share with her his home and his relationship with his mother. She and Felix become infatuated with each other, but she does not want to let anyone know they are regularly making out because of Felix's lowly status at school. After that, he broke up with her, but later at the Spring Fling, she gave a beautiful speech about how he makes her happy and calls him to the stage where they kiss in front of the whole school.

Personality[]

Described by Felix as smart and funny. Lake is also often carried by what people think. She was understanding when Mia told her about her hook up with Andrew. She's very sarcastic and seen as "rough around the edges" but overall very caring and a good friend. Lake was at first self conscious about her thighs for being too chunky, until Lucy expressed her lust for them while she was fondling her thighs during sex.
